Quick poll if you would be so kind, what do you all think about using an acronym for a domain name?
Some rather nefarious characters have been squatting on my site for about six months and I’m thinking about getting an abbreviated name.
What do you think?
Recently one of my clients gave me a black label OPI called Tutu Cute, it’s a beautiful champagne color with tiny silver glitter mixed in that somehow gets lost when you paint the nail. I do really enjoy the color, but at the time it was a little bit too plain so I had to add some quick dots and swirls.
If you find this, snatch it up and send it to me; I haven’t seen it anywhere!!!
Awww yeahhh!!! I’m now a beauty school graduate!!
I went all out for my nails this week, starting out with a base of OPI Fly and then topping them off with a UV sealer top coat and sinking in some dark pink, light pink and white swarovski crystals of various sizes.
What do you think??
I’ve been needing a little boost this week; I’m coming to the end of my beauty school program and now I’m getting a little worried about taking the state board to become licensed, so to boost myself I decided to paint a little happiness on my nails- literally!
I used China Glaze Gaga for Green, Liquid Leather and Happy Go Lucky, SpaRitual Heliotrope, and OPI Alpine Snow. I used this picture as reference:

What do you do to get over the blahs?
Here is another shot of the mani while holding the can that inspired it all.
Colors used: China Glaze Liquid Leather for the base, GOSH Miss Grey, Sally Hansen Blue By!, Orly Lucky Duck, China Glaze Gaga for Green and OPI Did It On ‘Em.
Let me tell you, I am not a Monster drinker. My husband on the other hand, is a Monster fiend. He buys cases of them at Sams, so we have empties hanging around the house quite often. Whenever I see them I’m always struck at how pretty the colors are together, whomever designed the can did a great job, they are beautiful. I always thought it would make a great sponge mani, so last night I decided to give it a try, and let me tell you, it couldn’t have been easier. The hardest part was picking out colors!!
I ended up using China Glaze Liquid Leather for the base, GOSH Miss Grey, Sally Hansen Blue By!, Orly Lucky Duck, China Glaze Gaga for Green and OPI Did It On ‘Em.

Mini post for you tonight, just a quick update on my schooling. ^___^
Everything is going good, recently one of my instructors got married last Saturday and asked me to do some nail art for her daughter (who was her maid of honor). She said her wedding colors were pink and white, but her daughter was a hip goth gal and wanted black so I decided to use those three main colors.
This was the design she ended up choosing:

What do you think about my wheel??
Monster Mash is another of the 22 Flash Glam FX polishes from Orly, and goodness I do love it already. (Also, you get a shot of the mysterious right hand. ^__^)
Medium green hex glitters, holographic bar glitter and small, micro holo glitters swimming in a green jelly; what’s not to love??
Here is a close up:

I’m not sure when they are all going to be released, but I’m assuming this is going to be around Halloween, if you can’t wait till then, you can purchase it online here.
I do apologize for my absence, I’ve got family in town for the next week so I’ll be MIA for a bit longer, that being said, this is the last in the Oz trio from A Rhyming Dictionary.
Betsy Bobbin is her name, and she is by far my favorite of the set; it’s a matte glitter (I used a coat of Seche to shine it up), with pink/salmon mini round glitters, small green and red glitters, medium blue hexes and large black circle glitters. I know it sounds like a crazy lot of glitters together, but they really work and look fabulous together. I wore it as a top coat over SpaRutual Heliotrope, and I plan on ordering a full size bottle as soon as this one is empty- which wont take long because I’ve worn it so much!!
You can buy Betsy Bobbin here, or see the entire Rhyming Dictionary store here or you can like them here.
Disclosure- Products were provided to me by the manufacturer for my opinion and honest review. See here for more information.
Just a quick post tonight, to let you know how much I have fallen in love with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. This came from the recent Spiderman tie-in and though I was really disappointed with the overall collection a few of them were great. I wish they had rethought the collection, but still released these colors with something else. This color is a bit of a minx; it appears to be white at first glance, but on closer inspection it actually leans a bit more grey. It’s about as light as you can get without being an actual white. Once I had some tip wear I topped it with Pretty and Polished Valentino, such a great glitter.
What do you think about the new collection?
